Satisfaction.

Tue Apr 29, 2008, 7:57 PM
Strange how it's been more than a year since I've last written a journal entry. It's even stranger how I look back through my journals and see how far I've matured. So far, I'm slightly ashamed of my time being wasted on such meaningless teenage nonsense. It happens to the best of us, I suppose. But still, I'm kinda glad I've gone through my experiences and to have been able to learn from what I had done. I was able to finally open my eyes and realize what I had been doing.

Hah, kinda sounds like one of those people who claimed to have 'found god'. In a way, yeah...you could put it that way. But the 'god' I worship is...dun dun duuuun, me. My very existence, my consciousness...my connection to Mother Nature and everything else. Inside and out. The collective mind. Yeah, to a regular person, it may sound strange, but it's what pretty much every religion preaches, isn't it? Descendants of gods, of the stars.

Perhaps this new way of thinking is due to the help of Mother Nature herself...and of course the family of friends I've circled myself with. I love them all so very deeply. The conversations and rants we can get into are the most intense I've EVER experienced. To analyze everything from the news, to nature, to sex (yes, we're able to talk comfortably about the most uncomfortable topics of conversation. twisted, aren't we? -sarcasm-), and so on.

I've been able to surround myself completely in nature recently now that it's Spring, and I'm able to be the Earthy Taurus that I am. You just have to know how to walk on the earth. And I owe it all to the loves of my life. I love you guys.

Well, I quit my job. It got tedious...and annoying.

So, on my short time off, I'll actually be working ((again)) on the Zodiac Project. I have the rough sketch layout of Pisces done and I should hopefully be putting it up soon as well as her profile.

I've spent more time on GaiaOnline...just joined a new guild and I absolutely LOVE IT!!! <33 Anyway. I'm questing, so if anyone has a Gaia account and have some tickets laying around in your inventory, donate to the cause of me getting my Parisian Red Fan? Pweeeese?

Much Love,

Tai

Well, I'm a working woman now. Busing tables at Cici's Pizza. So far it's...eh...tolerable. I'd prefer to be dishwashing or making the pizzas, but I shouldn't complain. It's better than nothing.

So yeah...not much of an update...

Vicarious - TOOL

Eye on the the TV
'Cause tragedy thrills me
Whatever flavor it happens to be, like...
"Killed by the husband"
"Drowned by the ocean"
"Shot by his own son"
"She used a poison
in his tea...kissed him goodbye"
It's my kind of story
It's no fun until someone dies

Don't look at me like
I am a monster
Frown out your one face
But with the other
Stare like a junkie
Into the TV
Stare like a zombie

While the mother holds her child
Watches him die
Hands to the sky crying,
"Why, oh why?"

Cause I need to watch things die... from a distance
Vicariously I live while the whole world dies
You all needn't choose your lie

Why can't we just admit it?
Why can't we just admit it?
We won't give pause until the blood is flowing
Neither the brave nor bold
Are right as the story's told
We won't give pause until the blood is flowing

I need to watch things die... from a good safe distance
Vicariously I live while the whole world dies
You all feel the same, so...

Why can't we just admit it?

Blood like rain falling down
Drawn by the brave and proud

Part vampire
Part warrior
Carnivore and warrior
Still have the transmitter
Sink to the death rattle

La, la, la, la, la, la-la-lie (x4)

Credulous at best
Your desire to believe in
Angels in the hearts of men
But pull your head on out
Your head, please, and give a listen
Shouldn't have to say it all again

The universe is hostile, so impersonal
Devour to survive... so it is, so it's always been

We all feed on tragedy
It's like blood to a vampire

Vicariously I live while the whole world dies
Much better you than I

IMHO, the best song in the world as of now. Sounds like Schism...and I think, in my opinion, a mix of Opiate and Lateralus. XD!!!!! Oh, and...HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAYNARD JAMES KEENAN!!! 42 years onld on Monday April 17, 2006!!!

A New Zodiac Project...

Sat Feb 4, 2006, 8:18 PM
Yep...I'm gonna try this again.

Lately I've been looking around Pandora's Box [link] and its sister sites and I've been gaining inspiration to at least attempt to make this whole Zodiac senshi thing happen. ^_^;

Though I doubt it'll work, it'll be a fun thing to do in the mean time. I've got a few new character ideas to sketch out, so there should be some otaku-ness going on in the world of Gaz Vasquez. If anyone out there is interested in collaberating any plot points, character outlines, or anything, feel free to send me a note, or contact me on either aim or msn. I'll be glad to share any ideas. ^_~
